About Us:
Domu is an enterprise voice AI startup crushing it in the financial services industry. We’ve tripled (ARR) with Fortune 500 customers and are on track to dominate the industry. Now, 50% of our code is written by AI, so we are a small engineering team. Putting in 12 to 15-hour days, the engineering team has traveled to +10 cities in the past half-year for product launches.
Our call volume is exploding from thousands to millions of conversations every month. We need an architecture-minded builder who lives and breathes AWS (or a comparable cloud stack) to keep us two steps ahead of that growth curve.
What you will be doing:
- Crack thorny product puzzles. Figure out how a voice-AI agent can collect even more cash.
- Scale like crazy. Design infra that sails through millions of calls each month.
- DevOps. Figure out how to set this up.
- Stress-test the bots. Break them with synthetic traffic and edge cases—then harden them.
Requirements:
- At least 50% of the code you write right now should be done by AI.
- Work in-person in San Francisco.
- +3 years of experience.
- Track record of shipping scalable products to end users
- Ready to grind long hours, including weekends, to hit our ambitious goals.
- Willing to travel frequently to meet clients where they are.
- Down to do whatever it takes, including direct client interactions.
